Pack 962 Overnight Wilmington Trip - May 20th & 21st

| 6am | Meet at St Andrews in Winston-Salem |
| 7am | Drive to Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington |
| 11am | Arrive at the battleship and tour the facilities |
| 4pm | Leave the battleship and drive to Thomas Farm (Mooretown, NC) |
| | In the event of inclement weather will will overnight at First Presbyterian Church at 125 South 3rd Street in downtown Wilmington. We will call parents if this happens. |
| 5pm | Dinner - hot dogs, salad, dessert |
| May 21 | |
| 8am | Breakfast - milk & cereal, juice |
| 10am | Leave Thomas Farm and return to Winston-Salem |
| 2pm | Arrive at St Andrews in Winston-Salem |

What to Bring

- pocket money for battleship
- tent
- sleeping bag
- Class A uniform for Saturday
- Class B clothes for Sunday
- spare set of clothes
- spare sneakers
- swim suit
- flashlight
- toothbrush, toothpaste, wash cloth and hand soap
- light jacket
- snacks, drinks
- water bottle rocket (20oz)
- fishing gear, footballs/frisbees & other outdoor games
Remember: no electronic games, radios, CD players, etc.
Directions
Winston-Salem to Battleship
- Take I-40 East to Wilmington.
- I-40 becomes NC Hwy 132/College Road at Exit 420, continue straight for approximately 1/2 mile.
- Take a right onto Martin Luther King Parkway or Hwy 74 towards the airport and downtown Wilmington.
- Follow the signs for Hwy 74 west for approximately 7 miles.
- You will turn right to go over the Isabelle Stallings Holmes Bridge.
- Turn left at the next stoplight to continue on Hwy 74 west.
- Go approximately 1 mile until you see the Battleship Memorial sign on your left.
Battleship to Thomas Farm
- Head back to I-40 West.
- Go west on I-40 to exit 408 - Hwy 210 East.
- Go east on Hwy 210 for 1.8 miles to Mooretown Road.
- Turn right on to Mooretown Road.
- Go 2 miles down Mooretown Road. The road will become a dirt road.
- Camp is on the right near the wooden shelter.
Food
- Please bring a bag lunch for Saturday on the trip down.
- The pack will provide hot dogs, salad & dessert for Saturday dinner.
- You are welcome to bring additional snacks. Snacks must be stored in closable coolers outside of the tents.
- The pack will provide cold cereal, milk and OJ for Sunday breakfast.
- Please bring lunch money (fast food) for the trip back.
